Recently, China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Hualu signed an EPC general contract for the air separation unit, methanol distillation unit, and polypropylene unit of Phase 1 of Stage 2 of the 15 million tons per year demonstration project for clean and efficient conversion of coal into various products, with Yulin Chemical Company of Shaanxi Coal Group. This agreement fully reflects the client’s high appreciation for Hualu Company’s technical capabilities in the field of coal chemical engineering, its experience in integrating complex systems, and its approach to creating value throughout the product lifecycle. It signifies the industry’s strong endorsement of the philosophy of \"technology-driven innovation, value prioritization, and quality as the key to success\". As a modern coal chemical demonstration project that is given priority support under the 14th Five-Year Plan, the Shaanxi Coal Yulin Chemical Project is one of the largest coal chemical projects in terms of investment scale and highest in terms of technical integration worldwide. It carries the strategic mission of facilitating the transformation of coal from a \"fuel\" to a \"raw material\" and \"material\". Phase 1 of Project Phase II will establish a complete industrial chain that includes air separation, methanol synthesis, methanol-to-olefins, and polyolefins. As the \"lifeline\" for the olefins, aromatics, and advanced processing industries, the air separation unit will provide a continuous and stable supply of gases to downstream facilities once it is built ; The methanol distillation unit is a key component of the 5.6 million tons per year methanol synthesis plant in this project, and it also serves as a \"quality control point\" in the coal-based new materials industry chain” ; As the key terminal link in the olefin deep processing industry chain, polypropylene plants will effectively enhance China’s self-sufficiency in high-performance synthetic materials, providing strong support for the high-quality development of strategic emerging industries such as new energy, automotive, and healthcare. Next, Hualu Company will make full use of its strengths in technology integration and project management for large-scale coal chemical projects, and advance the EPC construction of facilities such as air separation units, methanol distillation units, and polypropylene production plants to high standards.
