Requirements for the installation location of human body static electricity discharge devices: 1. According to the \"Code for Design of Static Electricity Grounding in Petrochemical Industries\" (SH/T 3097-2017), 5.2.5: At the entrance to the tank ladder, facilities for eliminating human body static electricity should be installed, or a 1-m-long exposed metal surface should be provided on the already grounded metal railing. 5.4.3: Equipment to eliminate static electricity from the human body should be installed at the entrances to the ladders on the railway loading dock and the tank car operation platform. 5.5.2: Equipment for eliminating static electricity from the human body should be installed at the entrance to the ladders on the vehicle loading platform and the tank truck operation platform, or on those platforms themselves; this equipment should be at a distance of more than 1.5 meters from the filling ports. 2. General Requirements for Static Electricity Protection Management (GB/T 39587-2020) 6.4.3: Necessary entry control equipment or measures shall be installed in areas where static electricity protection is required. 3. Appendix A.1 of the \"Safety Specifications for Intrinsic Safety Type Human Body Static Electricity Eliminators\" (SY/T 7354-2017). 4. Article 14.3.3 of the \"Design Specifications for Oil Depots\" (GB50074-2014): A set of device for eliminating human body static electricity should be installed 1.5 meters away on each side of the sampling port located on the floating roof of external floating-roof storage tanks, and such devices should be electrically connected to the tank body. This device for eliminating static electricity in the human body can also serve as an electrical connector for tools such as sampling ropes and measuring rods used during manual measurements. 14.3.14: The following Class A liquid handling areas, namely A, B, and C, shall be equipped with devices to eliminate static electricity on the human body: 1) Outside the door of the pump room. 2) At the entrance of the upper ladder on the storage tank. 3) At the entrance to the escalator on the operation platform in the loading and unloading area. 4) The entrances and exits for boarding and disembarking at the dock.
