During the design, installation, and inspection of pipelines, various minor issues that have been overlooked or not taken into consideration are often identified. These issues are collected and organized into a series; this list is being updated continuously. Everyone is welcome to actively participate in discussions. According to the Code for Design of Industrial Metal Pipelines GB 50316-2000 (2008 edition), Article 8.1.31 stipulates that the locations of all safety valves, pressure relief valves, and control valves should facilitate adjustment and maintenance, and there should be enough space to access the valve components. When these valves are installed at too high a position, a platform should be provided. All manual valves should be installed at a height that facilitates operation. Proper procedure: Enterprises should promptly check whether there is an operating platform at the safety valves located at high elevations; if no such platform exists, one should be installed as soon as possible to enhance the safety aspects associated with the inspection of these safety valves.
