China National Chemical Engineering Corporation First Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. was established in 1953 and was originally under the Ministry of Chemical Industry. In 2000, it came under the jurisdiction of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation, which is directly supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. In 2010, it went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange as part of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Limited (stock code: 601117). In 2019, it completed a reform toward a mixed-ownership structure as a pilot enterprise of the group company. The company’s equity structure consists of: state-owned shares (66%, held indirectly by China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation), private capital (15%, held directly by Yuxiang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd.), and employee shares (19%, of which Tianjin Huakan Zhiyuan Enterprise Management Service Center (limited partnership) holds 9.53% and Tianjin Huakan Xingwen Enterprise Management Service Center (limited partnership) holds 9.47%, with the latter shares being held on behalf of them by Guohua Investment Holding Co., Ltd.). The company has two separate subsidiaries: China National Chemical Engineering First Rock Engineering Co., Ltd. and Cangzhou Sinochem Pile Foundation Testing Co., Ltd.
