Let’s give praise and support to the achievements made in China’s chemical engineering technology and equipment. Your participation in discussions is the greatest encouragement**********************【Ten Years of Progress in Chemical Engineering Equipment】A continuously updated summary post is available; feel free to join the discussions: https://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-3576046-1-1.html ***************** The standard \"General Requirements for Evaluating Intelligent Factories\" (GB/T 46734—2025), in which Donghua Company of China’s chemical engineering sector played a role in its compilation, has been officially implemented. This is the first comprehensive standard for evaluating intelligent factories in China, filling a gap in the industry and providing manufacturers with a scientific and unified framework for achieving intelligent upgrades. Why is this “ruler” needed? Standards are the \"common language\" for industry development; in the past, the construction of smart factories faced the awkward situation of different parties using different standards. There is a lack of quantifiable criteria for evaluation within the industry; most existing standards are designed for discrete manufacturing and are not suitable for the complex scenarios of process manufacturing. The emergence of the \"General Guidelines for Evaluating Intelligent Factories\" addresses this issue. It establishes evaluation criteria that take into account both scientific principles and practicality, facilitating the development of smart factories by shifting from \"experience-based judgment\" to \"quantitative analysis\"; it provides clear guidance, especially for the intelligent transformation of process industries.
