The factory’s chimneys are used to vent steam, but they emit large amounts of smoke every day, which can lead to misunderstandings and complaints from the residents living in the vicinity. Is there any equipment that can be installed to reduce the emission of steam? I did a search on Baidu; someone mentioned something called a low-temperature filter screen, but no relevant information could be found. Condensation requires a large amount of circulating water – is that available? And what should be done with the condensate once it mixes with dust and smoke?
Excess water vapor is released through chimneys; no matter how much the vapor is superheated, white smoke will still be produced, arousing suspicion among the residents in the vicinity. It’s best to change the way of emission or find a way to make use of it.
I think if, as you say, what is emitted is purely steam, then there are two approaches: 1. Condensation, thoroughly converting gaseous water vapor into condensed water; 2. Raise the exhaust temperature to ensure that it is high enough to convert all liquid water droplets into dry steam; following approach one, the water after condensation can be slightly processed and still reused, which helps save water
There’s no need to worry about this; the material of the chimney has been taken into account for this purpose
I also plan to proceed according to this approach, that is, to see if any company has a mature solution available
Add a condenser to recover the condensed water; as long as the heat exchange area is sufficient to cool everything down, that will do
