GB/T 50103-2010 General Layout Drawing Standards: 2.4.1 “The general layout shall be drawn with north at the top and south at the bottom.” Depending on the shape or layout of the site, it can be deflected to the left or right, but not by more than 45°. It can be concluded that the placement of the northward reference in the device design is determined by the overall layout. In other words, the placement of the north indicator generally directs it upward, to the right, or to the left; the north indicator for a given project should remain consistent as much as possible, with exceptions allowed in special cases. The north direction in an axonometric view is the same as true north in the pipe layout diagram; it’s just that the axonometric view is drawn from southeast, northeast, southwest, and northwest perspectives
