Clean production

Clean production is based on environmental protection principles; it involves reviewing production processes and proposing improvement measures in areas such as design, process technology, equipment management, raw materials, and energy use, in order to determine implementation plans that help reduce pollutant emissions. It is carried out by qualified audit agencies hired by the enterprise, and the entire process takes approximately one year. The work is roughly divided into seven stages: training stage (audit preparation) – pre-audit (provision of basic information) – audit (provision of detailed information) – formulation of a plan – evaluation and determination of the plan – implementation of the plan – and ongoing clean production as well as establishment of relevant systems. The key to this process is that corporate leadership must pay attention, comprehensive publicity and training for all employees must be provided, and the company must work closely with the auditing agencies. In fact, it can be combined with the energy-saving and emission-reduction measures, minor improvements, and rationalization suggestions that companies carry out on a daily basis; all serve the same purpose.
