Guys, is the bypass optional or must it be removed?
Safety instruments are generally used independently, and the relevant measurement points cannot be shared. What is the purpose of this bypass?
You can refer to GBT50770 – basic process control should not interfere with the safety instrumented system. I’m not sure what purpose this bypass serves; please verify it in accordance with the standards
This design was adopted for early startup because the system positioners at that time did not have a PST function; the bypass was designed for valve testing.
