In hydrochloric acid storage tanks, rubber-lined vent valves should be installed due to the evaporation of acid mist; furthermore, the exhaust gases need to be absorbed. Acid should be collected once a day. The requirements for exhaust gas absorption can be met by modifying the feeding method from the top of the hydrochloric acid tank to feeding from the bottom, and it is important to maintain a distance of around 200 mm between the feeding pipe at the top and the bottom of the tank in order to achieve good processing results.
We added an exhaust gas absorption system later on; it’s sufficient to replace the liquid regularly.
