Hello, esteemed colleagues. I would like to ask: for a level gauge, can I simply use a carbon steel cover, make holes in the high-level tank, and then weld them together? The level gauge from the first picture I bought
If there are no threads, just weld it directly
A valve without connecting cylinders at the top and bottom? It has become a disposable item; once it breaks, it can’t be replaced.
The valves should be connected vertically; if there are no threads, welding is the only option.
First, screw threads onto both ends of the storage tank~~ The glass tube section uses loose-fit threads, and they just need to be tightened at the end~~
At the very least, a root valve should be installed; otherwise, how can maintenance be carried out?
It’s estimated to be similar to the installation method of compressed air float flow meters
Make holes in the box and insert the upper and lower pipes; these pipes should have threads. Apply a gasket for sealing, then tighten it with a nut. The key is to measure the vertical distance at the drilling location. When replacing the glass tube later, during installation, first insert the glass tube all the way to one side (up/down) until it is in a vertical position, and then insert it on the other side; the insertion depth on both sides should be roughly the same. Once that is done, simply tighten the nut to compress the packing.
What you’ve done isn’t professional; we use threaded connections here
