Is it that redox reactions cannot occur? Will it be pyrolyzed at high temperature?
Although I don’t quite understand what the poster meant, I don’t think it’s quite right. I found this from the notes in the petrochemical regulations. It seems that methylene chloride is Category A.
No. This is the explanation from Baidu Encyclopedia: "It is a non-flammable low-boiling point solvent, often used to replace flammable petroleum ether, ether, etc. ”
Methyl chloride is "flammable, explosive and highly hazardous." It's not the same substance.
