An appropriate amount of selenium powder (Se) was added to the hydrazine hydrate solution, and after stirring for about 1.5 hours, the mixture was transferred to a hydrothermal reactor. It was then heated at 160 degrees Celsius for 6 hours. Upon completion of heating, it was found that the reactor had been damaged and could no longer be opened. What’s going on here
Hydrazine hydrate decomposes into a large amount of gas at high temperatures, and the high pressure causes the lining to deform; my 50 ml reactor, together with 15 ml of hydrazine hydrate, was damaged as a result. You can try reducing the volume of hydrazine hydrate used
