I’m just starting to work with MDEA carbon removal; I need help from experts! ! !
Is there a relationship between condensation dehydration and pressure? Can a separator separate all water droplets? Specifically, why is a plate tower used for absorption and a packed tower for regeneration in this process? I would be extremely grateful if experts could share their knowledge regarding MDEA. Thank you so much! ! !
It is certainly related to pressure; the water here cannot be completely removed, and after decarburization, there is usually a triethylene glycol dehydration unit as well. Absorption does not necessarily require a plate tower; packed towers can also be used.
Hello, could you please provide some guidance on condensation dehydration? My understanding is that the saturated vapor pressure at the condensation temperature; the pressure above this saturated vapor pressure causes water droplets to form, and these droplets are then removed using a degasifier. Is that correct?
