Discussion on the material of storage and transportation pipelines for 35% hydrogen peroxide

The company has now installed a 50 m3 PE storage tank for storing 35% hydrogen peroxide. The tank is equipped with a sunshade, and all the transfer pipes are made of PE material; they are covered with glass cloth to protect them from sunlight, and the lower part of the pipes is supported by angle steel. Fluoropolymer alloy pumps are used for transfer, but the equipment has not yet been put into use. I heard later that PE pipes can generate static electricity, which may lead to explosions. I would like to ask my colleagues whether anyone has used PE pipes for transporting hydrogen peroxide. Additionally, the delivery pipeline is about 200 meters long – are there any other protective measures needed? I’ve heard that it’s necessary to empty the material in the pipeline after each filling operation; is that really required, or is sun protection sufficient? Thank you.

I checked some discussions on the forum; it seems that 321 is the material that’s usually chosen. But it’s already installed this way, and I don’t want to make any changes. I’d like to hear everyone’s opinions here; if PE pipes work, then we won’t make any further changes.
