For a 10t/h gas steam boiler, what is the approximate gas consumption in cubic meters per hour?
The amount of gas used is related to the following factors: 1. The calorific value of natural gas varies from place to place； 2 Is the waste heat from high-temperature flue gas recovered? ； 3. Efficiency level of the furnace ； 4. Nozzle quality, etc.
The estimation is made based on the calorific value provided by the gas supplier, along with the boiler’s thermal efficiency, using the standard of 600,000 kcal per ton of steam produced! If calculation is required, separate thermal calculations are needed.

Let me tell you the simplest way to calculate it: one ton of low-pressure steam is equivalent to 700 kW; 10 tons therefore equal 7000 kW. A boiler with a capacity of 7000 kW requires 700 cubic meters of natural gas per hour (with a calorific value of 8600 for natural gas). The thermal efficiency of gas boilers is generally around 90%, so 700/0.9 = 875 cubic meters of natural gas are needed.
