The reactor needs to be shut down for catalyst replacement, but each water washing cycle is long and not very effective. Brothers, if you have any good suggestions, please feel free to share them! Thank you! (Fixed-bed reactor)
You didn’t explain clearly which substance on the washable catalyst is not performing well and how I can help you. Generally, washing with water does not yield good results; one can wash it once with water and then switch to steam cleaning, or use a solvent for cleaning first before washing with water.
