Dear experts, can low-temperature liquid ethylene (-31°C) be directly heated using steam or hot water to turn it into a gas at a pressure of around 0.6 MPa?
Indirect heating should be used, with propylene or ethanol as an intermediate medium, followed by heating with steam. The water can also be heated directly using a water bath heater, with the hot water then used to heat the ethylene.
For indirect heating, our factory first uses steam to heat C4, and then C4 is used to heat ethylene.
