What causes bubbles in polystyrene?
It’s in the particles! Is there air leakage from the gear pump? Are there any other reasons?
Could the original poster share the manufacturers of patents for polystyrene production?
Where is the pressure in the gear pump? Any leakage that occurs is external; it is likely due to insufficient vacuum level in the devolatilization section
Check the shaft seal pressure of the gear pump; it is generally sufficient to keep it between 0.5-1.0 MPa
