Does anyone know if PFA material can withstand **furan?
It’s funny – today I’m selecting a pump, and the medium in question is also **furan**. Not only does the material need to be taken into consideration, but the materials of the seal surfaces and gaskets as well; avoid using PTFE F4 and fluororubber.
We’re not used for pumps; it’s just a spray head, with the front part made of stainless steel. But thanks for the reminder; after all, I’ve only been working on design for a short time, so I’ll pay attention to these issues in the future
PFA is soluble polytetrafluoroethylene, which is generally used in high-temperature applications. Its corrosion resistance is comparable to that of ordinary FEP and PTFE.
The spray head can be made of impermeable graphite. -

PTFE is suitable for use in nozzles; it is inexpensive and has excellent processing properties.
