I’m working on a project that involves designing a horizontal tank for trichlorosilane with a capacity of 30 cubic meters, at 1 Mpa； Flash point of trichlorosilane: -27.8°C, boiling point (101.325 kPa): 31.8°C, Class A B ； Should this storage tank be classified as a Class A/B liquid with a boiling point below 45°C for full-pressure storage in accordance with GB50160? It can still be classified as a Type A B fixed-roof tank. According to GB50160, 6.2.3, for storing Class A liquid B with a boiling point below 45°C, pressure or low-pressure storage tanks are recommended. Personally, I think using pressure storage tanks is safer than low-pressure tanks; if full pressure tanks are used, the required fire separation distances become even greater.
Seeing this boiling point, the first thing that comes to mind is trichlorosilane
I was wondering, what is done when such a substance is encountered?
