I’m a newcomer in the chemical industry; I started working in this position and immediately faced issues such as aging equipment and leaks in the heat exchangers. My supervisors keep pressing me to develop maintenance plans. Since I’m not a professional in this field and have limited knowledge, I’m seeking advice from those who are more experienced on how to overcome these challenges!
Heat exchanger leakage is a common issue; there should be plenty of information available on Baidu
Find a few key points to write down, and then refine them further
Look for maintenance plans online; they definitely exist.
Just retrieve the previous versions and make the necessary changes; much of what’s available on Baidu doesn’t match the actual situation of one’s own company.
It seems the leader is testing you. Get closer to your supervisor and see if they have any plans.
