The current mainstream production processes in China generate large amounts of wastewater during manufacturing. Manufacturers resort to various methods, including subsequent water treatment solutions, to address this issue. Although pollution is to some extent controlled, these methods are still costly and require significant investment. Commissioned by an acrylic company, our company’s technical staff spent 2 months working on this challenge, and have now succeeded in overcoming it. By replacing the azeotrope, we redesigned a process scheme that makes maximum use of the existing equipment. This solution generates no wastewater, resulting in zero emissions, and its production cost has been reduced by 500 yuan per ton compared to before.
