Seek advice on the setting of pressure sampling points for safety interlocks

I would like to ask the experts here: In SIS design, a three-to-two remote pressure measurement system is required for the instrument air main. There are two options for setting up the pressure measurement points: 1. Install three consecutive pressure measurement points on the main pipe at the outlet of the air compressor station’s storage tank； 2. One shall be installed at the main pipe outlet of the storage tank in the air compressor station, one at the main pipe of the intermediate section, and one at the main pipe of the end section. I was wondering which option would be more suitable?
Isn’t it more appropriate to install three at the end of the pipe section? The oil pressure interlocks for the units are all placed at the farthest end of the main pipe, in order to ensure a minimum operating pressure.
Interlocking is used to protect the compressor itself; it is reasonable to place the pressure measurement points close to the compressor.
