Recently, it was noticed that there is a small hole on top of the stainless steel manhole covers, with a diameter of about seven or eight millimeters; it’s also quite deep. I’m not sure what purpose this serves
Are there any pictures? Let’s take a look at the previous picture; I’ve never seen something like this before

Is it made of composite material? The detection holes on the outer layer, right?
The reaction vessel should be sealed, it’s a pressure vessel
The lid comes with an inner liner; those are the ventilation holes
