The total volume of the transformed gas is 800,000 units; the pressure in the low-pressure flash section of the thermal regeneration tower is 0.19 MPa. The amount of nitrogen removed by gas lift is 65,000 units (the design value is 74,000 units). There is a serious problem with alcohol contamination, requiring liquid addition almost on a daily basis. As a current solution, the amount of methanol used for washing in the medium-pressure flash tower is reduced, while the amount of gas discharged from the cycle is increased. Additionally, more methanol is used for the primary washing process and less for the final washing process. Yet, the sulfur level remains high—around 0.1 ppm—even after making these adjustments. The temperature for final washing is -51 degrees Celsius. The flow rates are as follows: 460 t/h for primary washing, 260 t/h for the main washing process, and 270 t/h for sulfur washing. While it’s possible to control the CO2 level, it’s not possible to control the sulfur content in the syngas. The sulfur content at the inlet of the low-methane stream is approximately 0.15–0.2%. The acid gas ammonia emission line keeps having problems; many so-called experts have come, but the issue has still not been resolved

But based on the arrogant statements you make, I guess you’re not that great either – at best, you only have a superficial understanding of the subject. There’s a saying in our company: “Our Lurgi low-temperature methanol washing system is designed to overcome all kinds of challenges.” So what if you have years of experience, or if you’re highly skilled? Whether you come from Shenhua or a design institute, countless so-called experts have failed against our low-temperature methanol washing system. If you’re really that great, feel free to come to Dalun; if you can indeed solve these problems for us, then it won’t be too early to make more arrogant claims

Your company’s devices are amazing, but what does that have to do with you? Did you design them? How much do you know about this set of devices? Where does your sense of pride come from?
