Are there any standard requirements regarding control valves that specify in what situations fire shields must be installed?
It shouldn’t be a self-control standard; it’s hard to say which standard it is. Generally, the installation will have fire compartments divided up. For the valves located in these fire compartments, if it is required that those valves continue to function for a certain period of time after a fire breaks out, then measures to protect the valves from fire must be considered, such as using fire shields or fire-resistant coatings……
