What causes the flame length? Is mixing better?
Look at the style of the furnace and the distribution of the furnace tubes. There are those with side burning as well as bottom burning; generally, cylindrical furnaces use bottom burning, while box-type furnaces have side burning
Is the bottom burner not afraid of flames that are too long?
The amount of side burning and bottom burning is roughly the same; for information on the suitability of different furnace types, see the explanation on floor 2.~~~ The length of the flame has little to do with side burning or bottom burning~~~ This length is controlled under predetermined design conditions
The preheating furnace here reaches around 650 degrees; it uses bottom heating, and there’s nothing about extended flames – it’s probably determined by the process design, after all, the amount of gas used is fixed
