A pressure tap pipe is led from the equipment to the flange; the outlet temperature of the equipment is 260°C. The pressure tap pipe has a DN80 diameter and a length of 50 cm, and it is not insulated. What amount of heat loss will occur in an environmental temperature of -10°C in winter, and what will be the temperature at the flange side?
One can refer to Appendices L/M/N of HG/T20514-2014 to make an approximate estimate; however, conducting a precise calculation seems quite complicated.
