I wonder if any of you who are familiar with marine matters know the required clearances between cables and various pipelines? Including above-ground pipelines and cables, below-ground pipelines and cables, and so on? What do the national standards specify? What do the US standards specify?
On the ground: Many refining companies start by installing multi-layer concrete Π-shaped pipe racks. Subsequent cable trays are supported by those laid on top.
