Purification by vacuum distillation, with a vacuum level of 2 KPa (absolute pressure). The substance in question is ethylene glycol diacetate, present in approximately 65%; the other components include diethylene glycol diacetate at around 25% and triethylene glycol diacetate at 5%. There are also components that need to be removed through decolorization and recombination processes. The tower equipment used is a DN600, 12-metre-high packed tower, with a reboiler of 20 m2 in area. The heating medium used is 8 kilograms of steam. The phenomenon observed is that the evaporation rate is unstable, around 200L. Additionally, the temperature at medium levels is unstable, either dropping or rising again. Is it that the area of the reboiler is insufficient? Is it still the insufficient latent heat of water vapor?
Is it continuous feeding or intermittent, and is there any flooding?
