In Table A.0.1 of HGT 20660-2017, the hazard indices are provided. Through calculations using the relevant formulas, I found that for 47 to 51 different substances, the calculated Toxicity Hazard Index (THI) values did not match those listed in Table A.0.1 of the standard; for example, for methanol, the value calculated is 118, while the value given in the table is 18; However, based on the score values of the individual toxicity hazard indicators in the table, the calculation yields: THI=2*5+1*1+2*4+4*5+1*3+2*1=44, and thus the classification will be different as well. What on earth is going on here? Additionally, I have two questions regarding issues that arose in the calculations: 1. \"The criteria for classifying acute toxicity are based on acute inhalation toxicity and acute dermal toxicity.\" For substances for which there is no data on acute inhalation toxicity, the classification for acute oral toxicity is used as a reference. ” ; According to the entry notes, if inhalation parameters are available, the acute oral values are not taken into consideration, even if the inhalation value is set to zero? Is that correct? 2. If acute oral values are used, and there is no weight coefficient specified in the guidelines, what should it be? Thank you!
