What is the correct orientation for installing this valve?

Experts, what is the specific name of this type of valve? With it installed as shown in the diagram, does the flow direction of the medium be upward or downward?
The flow direction is upward, just like in small-bore globe valves, with fluid entering from the lower side and exiting from the higher side.
Then, inversely, since we now know that the flow direction of the medium is from top to bottom, is the orientation of the valve correct?
Plunger valve, RAM valve – not necessarily; it depends on the PID and general instructions.
Y-valve: Material flows from top to bottom; it seems like the valve is installed in the wrong direction. I’m not sure if there is any indication on the valve showing the flow direction
