Dear gods: What is the outer diameter corresponding to the nominal diameter of PP pipe? GB/T18742 only contains data on the pressure level, wall thickness and operating temperature of PP materials, but no outer diameter comparison data was found. Can the outer diameter of PP be purchased in accordance with GB/T28708 (Regulations on the size selection of seamless and welded steel pipes for pipeline engineering)? The outer diameter of PP pipes should be another standard, right? Can you tell me the standard number, or provide a copy of the standard directly to Xiaosheng? Thank you again!

I only know that the outer diameter of pp is different from that of steel pipe. The outer diameter of PP is larger, but I haven’t found the standard.

Later, I checked some information and found that the size specifications of plastic pipes such as PP, PVC, HDPE, etc. are expressed by the outer diameter (nominal diameter) * Wall thickness. It seems that we need to install a PDMS, otherwise the pipe axonometric drawings cannot be prepared. It is too troublesome to draw the axonometric drawings using CAD. Moreover, without three-dimensional piping, the pipes designed in the future will fight, collide with structural steel beams and other changes. The most important thing is that without three-dimensional piping, material statistics is the most painful.
