Why is the gas flow rate in chemical production specified in Nm3 cubic, rather than in terms of the fluid flow rate corresponding to the operating conditions? \ud83d\ude07\ud83d\ude07\ud83d\ude07
Standard cubic meters are used uniformly to facilitate comparison, understanding, and conversion. The actual operating pressures and temperatures vary greatly, making it difficult to compare and understand.
The total time required under different operating conditions needs to be converted using the actual volume CUM/hr, which is inconvenient and difficult to understand
You need to consider what is truly important in terms of the process – usually it’s the quality of the gas passing through; a simple volume flow rate is not meaningful
