Issues with the small dikes and drainage ditches surrounding the units (frames) of chemical plants

I have a question for the experts: in the design of ordinary petrochemical plants, a retaining wall 200 mm high is installed around each unit (framework) (in accordance with Article 5.2.28 of GB50160), and drainage ditches are provided inside this retaining wall. However, according to item 6 of clause 5.3.1 of GB50160, which states that \"in the buildings for compressing flammable gases that are heavier than air, it is not advisable to have pits or ditches in the floor,\" and clause 3.6.6 of GB50016, which says that \"in Class A buildings where flammable gases are released into the air, it is not appropriate to have ditches,\" it becomes impossible to install drainage channels inside the framework, resulting in drainage problems. I’d like to ask the experts: how do you handle this issue during the design process? Thank you
The presence of gas is mainly intended to minimize the accumulation of other flammable substances that could form explosive mixtures. It isn’t necessary to design ditches; instead, retaining walls can be used. The key is to increase the slope angle, creating a steeper slope for proper drainage
