Dear Haiyou teachers, our tank farm has 2 butadiene storage tanks. To prevent the self-polymerization of butadiene, the supervisory authorities now require the installation of equipment for adding butadiene polymerization inhibitors (TBC). The pipes and pipe fittings at the external connections provided by the manufacturers of this inhibitor equipment are made of stainless steel, while our main pipes and drainage pipes are made of carbon steel. What material would be suitable for the pipes that connect the inhibitor equipment to our main pipes? Thank you to all the teachers!
