Purpose of the test: To calibrate the devices for primary and secondary air flow, determine the correction factors for each air flow device, thereby enabling operators to accurately control the air flow into the furnace. Through resistance tests on the air distribution plates, resistance characteristic curves are generated, which are used to determine whether the engine cover is blocked, providing a basis for starting up the cold furnace. Resistance tests of the material layers yield characteristic curves for these layers, which help in assessing the quality of the bed material. Cold slag tests involve measuring the resistance curves of the air distribution plates and cold slaggers, in order to understand the properties of the material layers involved in slag formation within the boiler. Pre-fluidization is a procedure carried out before operation to check whether the fluidization process and key equipment are functioning properly. The medium used for pre-fluidization is generally the same as that used in normal fluidization
