Check the vapor concentration of volatile components. Most hazardous waste is in solid form, with few volatile components; the gas concentration is so low that alarms often fail to detect it. So in most cases, an alarm is not used. It ultimately depends on the compositional characteristics of the stored materials.

Article 3.1.4 of the GB 50016-2018 version of the Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings states that when items with different fire hazards are stored in the same warehouse or within any fire compartment of a warehouse, the fire hazard classification of the warehouse or fire compartment shall be determined based on the item with the highest fire hazard. Designed as a Class C warehouse, Classes A and B items cannot be stored there.
I see from your previous message that the hazardous waste storage area is designed as Category C, and materials of Categories A and B cannot be stored there. Does that mean that hazardous waste cannot be classified as Category A or Category B? Since my hazardous waste falls under categories A and B, it cannot be classified as category C.

The fire protection rating of a warehouse is determined based on the category of items stored there; items with a higher rating cannot be stored in warehouses with a lower rating. The person who returned there at first mentioned that the warehouse was designed as a Class C warehouse, so items of Classes A and B cannot be stored there. If your hazardous waste falls into categories A or B, it should be stored in a warehouse designed for category A waste; if there is no hazardous waste, then a warehouse designated for category C can be used. However, when designed as a Class A building, there are strict restrictions on fire separation distances and floor area, etc.; the investment required is high and the requirements are stringent
For chemical plants, it’s more reliable to classify them as Category A
