Recently, the unit was equipped with a binary atmospheric distillation column; a negative pressure is naturally generated at the column top. The reflux tank at the top has a higher pressure than that at the column top, while the pressure at the bottom of the column decreases but remains positive. Seeking expert guidance on the reason
If the top condenser/reflux tank is not vented, it remains cooler, which naturally creates a vacuum; in such cases, it can be vented or nitrogen can be introduced
The cooling capacity is too high; I’ll increase the temperature after cooling to address the energy consumption issue

If the top of the tower is for air defense, there won’t be negative pressure
It is due to the excess capacity of the tower top condenser. It is recommended to install a nitrogen seal and a pressure stage control valve at the top of the tower, in order to maintain a slightly positive pressure there and prevent the intake of air, which could pose safety risks.
