Which expert has information on the production process of methyl methacrylate MMA? The isobutylene oxidation method is the best; it is currently considered the most advanced approach. The general process involves the cracking of MTBE/tert-butanol to produce isobutylene, which is then oxidized in two steps to yield methacrylic acid, and from this methacrylic acid methyl ester is finally produced. The market is estimated to be saturated already. I checked the process for oxidizing propylene to acrylic acid; it’s more or less the same. In Japan, the process can use isobutylene as a feedstock or tert-butanol, while I’m not entirely sure about the processes used by Wanhua and Huayi, but they’re probably similar
