In a certain technical renovation project, there are a wide variety of media present in the tank area; the flammable media range from Class A to Class B, in addition to alkali solutions, with toxicity levels varying from high to low. It used to be that the vent gases were discharged on-site, but now, due to stricter environmental regulations, all gases are discharged in a sealed manner, with only non-flammable alkaline solutions being exempted from this requirement. Among them is a low-toxicity flammable medium, C B, with a flash point of around 130 degrees; it is also released in a closed system. Is this going too far? In accordance with the latest laws and regulations regarding safety and environmental protection, which media need to be discharged in a sealed manner, and which can be vented on-site through exhaust pipes?
Personally, I think sealed emission for Class A B and Class B A is sufficient

The current approach is to channel all flammable materials into exhaust treatment devices in a sealed manner; a water seal is installed on the discharge pipes for Category C substances, to prevent excessive pressure in the pipes for Categories A and B from affecting the stable operation of the Category C tanks.
This is a bit too cautious; was it determined after a HAZOP analysis?
