In a PID process, must the names of devices such as centrifugal pumps and heat exchangers be identical to those on the device manufacturer’s nameplate? Are there any rules?
It’s just a pump; the pump needs to be selected according to the design requirements
Other companies may not know, but on our end the PID is determined first, and the names are already set. Then purchases are made based on the name on the PID, so they are basically all the same.
It’s putting the cart before the horse – it shouldn’t be that device data sheets are prepared based on PID, and only then is the device determined
There’s no rule; the names on the PID diagram are all represented by tag numbers
It’s not necessary; the PID parameters serve as a theoretical reference for selecting the appropriate model and manufacturer
It depends on the series number of the manufacturer’s brand; manufacturers also produce products in accordance with certain standards, but these are not necessarily **standard** ones
