Why is 8.5% hydrogen peroxide considered a safe concentration? Is hydrogen peroxide at this concentration still considered category A?
It might be related to the vapor pressure after dilution; I’m not sure about the other factors. It might be possible to find relevant standards, but it’s unlikely to find anyone who has conducted studies on the specific calculations; the scope is quite narrow
You can check the general guidelines for storing common hazardous chemicals; they contain information regarding concentrations. But as for why it isn’t classified as Category A, there seems to be no standard definition for this at present
Personally, I think you should take a look at the list of hazardous chemicals: those with a concentration of over 8% are considered hazardous chemicals. As for categories A and B, the explanations in the regulations on petrochemicals state that if the area proportion is less than 5%, it does not constitute category A
