Currently, after the chlorination reaction, the material needs to be pumped to the next processing stage. The pump is required to handle a flow rate of 2 m3/h and a head of 80 m. The material being transported is quite dirty (the Y-type filter screens need to be replaced every four hours). There is some vaporization occurring before the pump. So far, metering pumps, magnetic pumps, and multi-stage centrifugal pumps have been used. The isolation sleeve of magnetic pumps often burns out, and this is caused by liquid interruption resulting from vaporization and blocked pipelines. The impeller set of multi-stage centrifugal pumps needs to be replaced every two days; this is caused by dirt accumulating on the impeller set. Replacing the impeller set every couple of days is a real hassle; I’d appreciate it if anyone could recommend a pump that would be more suitable.
What is the temperature of the material? Mud-type shielded electric pumps can be used; there are also high-temperature separation types available for high temperatures. When you say the material is dirty, do you mean it contains solid particles or is it highly viscous? The characteristics of the material must be fully considered when selecting a pump.
A slurry-type shielded pump can be considered; for filtration at the inlet, two basket filters are used, with one serving as a backup. If it’s blocked, switch to please sort it out
The temperature of the material is in the high fifties; there are particles and substances with high viscosity, and the particle size is relatively small.
This filter is already being customized; the main focus is on selecting the right pump. :'(
Do you have any recommendations? The outlet pressure I need here should reach 1.2 MPa.
