This is related to the temperature of the liquid. If the temperature of the liquid is below the saturation temperature corresponding to 7 bar, it means that the liquid will not flash, and therefore no liquid nitrogen will be consumed ; If the temperature of the liquid is higher than the saturation temperature corresponding to 7 bar, the liquid will be consumed due to flashing; the specific amount of consumption depends on the liquid temperature. If there are temperature layers, it is also necessary to determine how much liquid nitrogen exists at each different temperature. I think the biggest difficulty in calculating the consumption rate is determining the initial state of the liquid.
There are two ways to reduce the pressure from 8 bar to 7 bar. One method is to release the gaseous nitrogen from the upper part, which helps to lower the pressure; another method is to add more liquid nitrogen when the level of liquid nitrogen in the tank is low, which also helps to reduce the pressure.
