It must be a very old drawing; first, find the legend. Many years ago, W denoted energy devices, such as electric motors, which were common at the time.
It refers to the dirty oil discharged during the maintenance of the pump body; the diagram shows the oil collection tray at the base of the pump, which is usually connected to the plant’s main dirty oil discharge pipeline along with the pump’s own discharge piping； W represents the drive machine
Discharge waste water from the night outlet into the sewer (sewage tank); W represents the motor (drive unit)
