The bed in the dechlorination tank of the reprocessing unit has hardened and solidified, making it impossible to remove the material from it. The hardening is severe; the layer is very compact. Since the lower layer is empty, it’s not possible for people to enter there, and it’s also difficult to add water. After two days of attempts to remove the material, only a small hole was managed to create! Is there any other way?
Your dechlorinating agent isn’t heat-resistant and its water-absorption capacity is poor; it would be better to switch to a different manufacturer of dechlorinating agents, as they add an ingredient to their products to prevent coking. Make sure to agree on the operating conditions with the manufacturer first!
