The yellow phosphorus storage tank has been in use for several years, and there is a large amount of phosphorus sludge on its surface. To remove this sludge from the surface, what type of pump or other method should be used?
As for the slurry pump, it doesn’t seem certain that a pump will work; perhaps a screw conveyor would be necessary. It’s possible to take out a sample in order to measure its viscosity, particle size, and other properties. Only after these characteristics are known can an appropriate solution be devised
Physical removal of sludge from the surface of the sedimentation tank can be done using scrapers.
