As the title suggests, does holding a senior engineer certificate in the chemical engineering field grant one the qualification to conduct inspections on pressure pipelines? Is it still necessary to attend the training and take the exam for pressure pipeline design approvers organized by the association?
No one without proper training and certification is qualified to conduct audits on pressure pipelines. . That certificate needs to be renewed every 4 years. . Those with intermediate training can obtain auditing qualifications. . Advanced professional titles can qualify for approval through training
To become a pressure pipeline auditor, one needs to undergo training and obtain the necessary certification; this has no direct connection to having an advanced title. If one already holds an advanced title and continues to work in design, it merely indicates that they meet the duration requirement for being a pressure pipeline auditor.
